Last updated: 31 AUGUST 2026· Prepared for Gamel Clodin Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases and use of the website located at gamelclodin.com (the “Site”), operated by Gamel Clodin Ltd (“Gamel Clodin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana pursuant to the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). By browsing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you (“you” or “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Definitions
“Ready-to-Wear (RTW)” means apparel manufactured in advance and available for immediate purchase and delivery.
“Bespoke” means a garment tailored to an individual customer’s measurements and specifications, made to order after purchase.
“Custom Order” means a garment produced to a customer-supplied design, subject to design and measurement assessment before production begins.
“Products” means any RTW, Bespoke, or Custom Order item offered for sale by Gamel Clodin, whether in-store or via the Site.
4. Our Products & Service Promise
Gamel Clodin was founded to resolve inconsistent quality and unreliable delivery in Ghana’s tailoring industry. In keeping with that purpose, we commit to clear, realistic timelines for every order and to communicate promptly if a timeline changes — our internal standard is to under-promise and over-deliver on turnaround time. Estimated production and delivery timeframes are provided at the time of order and vary by Product type (RTW ships fastest; Bespoke and Custom Orders require additional production time as described in Section 8).
5. Orders and Acceptance
An order placed through the Site is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing (including by email or order-confirmation page). We may cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including where a Product is unavailable, pricing was displayed in error, or fraud is suspected — in which case any payment already made will be refunded in full.Orders and order confirmations placed electronically through the Site are valid and enforceable in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), which gives legal recognition to electronic records and electronic contracts formed in Ghana.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and, where offered, United States Dollars (USD) for international customers; the currency selector applies consistently across the Site. Prices include applicable Ghanaian taxes unless stated otherwise and exclude delivery charges, which are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed.Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Bespoke and Custom Orders may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of order, with the balance due before delivery (see Section 8).
7. Delivery & Shipping
We deliver within Ghana and internationally to select destinations, including for customers in the African diaspora. Estimated delivery windows are provided at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees; we will notify you promptly of any delay. Risk in a Product passes to you on delivery. International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges levied by the destination country.
8. Bespoke & Custom Order Terms
Bespoke orders require accurate measurements provided by the customer (in person at a retail location, or via a guided remote measurement process for online orders); Gamel Clodin is not liable for fit issues caused by inaccurate customer-supplied measurements.
A non-refundable deposit is required to begin production on Bespoke or Custom Orders; the balance is due before the completed garment is released for delivery or collection.
Estimated production timelines will be confirmed at order and communicated in writing; material changes to that timeline will be communicated proactively, consistent with our service promise in Section 4.
Because Bespoke and Custom Order items are made specifically for the individual customer, they are not eligible for the standard change-of-mind return described in Section 9, except where the Product is faulty or materially different from what was agreed.
9. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Ready-to-Wear Products may be returned within 7 days of delivery, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached, for a replacement or repair; we do not offer refunds for standard change-of-mind returns. Consistent with the implied conditions of quality and fitness under the Sale of Goods Act, 1962 (Act 137), Products must be free from defects not disclosed at the time of sale; where a Product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund regardless of the standard return window. To start a return, email info@gamelclodin.com, message us on our official Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok pages, or bring the item to either retail location with proof of purchase for a direct, in-person exchange. Where a refund applies under the statutory remedy above, it will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time after the returned item is received and inspected.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, product names, photography, logos, and content on the Site are the property of Gamel Clodin Ltd or its licensors and are protected under applicable Ghanaian and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.
11. Sustainability & Circular Fashion Program
As part of our commitment to circular production, we recover and repurpose fabric off-cuts from our manufacturing process, including through initiatives such as converting textile waste into eco-friendly building materials. Details of any customer-facing take-back or recycling programs, if and when offered, will be published on the Site and are subject to their own program-specific terms.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process personal data (such as your name, contact details, measurements for Bespoke orders, and payment information) in order to fulfil orders, operate the Site, and communicate with you. We process this data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Full details of what we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a data subject are set out in our separate Privacy Policy.
13. Electronic Communications
By using the Site, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including order confirmations, delivery updates, and notices relevant to these Terms. Such electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing, in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772).
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Gamel Clodin’s liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or purchase of a Product is limited to the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law, including liability under the Sale of Goods Act, 1962 (Act 137) for goods that are not of the quality or fitness represented at sale.
15. Force Majeure
Gamel Clodin is not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power or internet outages, supply chain disruption, or government action. We will notify affected customers and take reasonable steps to minimize any resulting delay.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will first be addressed through good-faith direct negotiation with our customer service team. If unresolved, either party may refer the dispute to mediation or arbitration under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798), or bring proceedings before the competent courts of Ghana, which have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, Products, or applicable law. The current version will always be posted on the Site with its effective date. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
